Ed’s love of music began at an early age as a clarinetist in his sixth grade band, and continued as a Music Education Major at Queens College. While his career took a different direction, his love and passion for the arts have always been an important part of his life. Ed has spent 30 years as a sales, marketing and business manager in commercial banking. After 20 years at Citibank and 7 years with Sterling National Bank, Ed is currently at Signature Bank as a Group Director, managing his own Private Client Group. Ed focuses on providing privately held businesses and their owner’s superior financial services, as well as utilizing networking as a vehicle to provide additional value. By creating unique sports marketing programs and events, he assists with the acquisition and retention of clients and has actively utilized these programs to benefit charities and non-profits.
Ed has been involved with many charitable organizations including Bat for the Cure (prostate cancer), Heather on Earth (music therapy) and The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation and has served on the board of the American Suicide Prevention Foundation, NY Chamber Symphony Orchestra with Gerard Schwartz, and currently Songs of Love, an organization that writes personalized songs for terminally ill children. Ed has two wonderful children, Joanna and Jonathan – both musicians living in the NY area, three stepchildren and a beautiful wife Donna. Ed resides in Bergen County, NJ and in NYC. (Back to top)

A marketing and communications professional for nearly 25 years, Megwin spent the first 20 years of her career in some of New York's biggest advertising agencies working on a wide variety of brands and categories for many different Fortune 500 clients. At JWT, Megwin served as General Manager of the NY flagship office until 2007 when she bowed out of the agency business to pursue a career as a marketing consultant. Her consulting work eventually led to her current position as VP, Integrated Sales Marketing at NBC Universal.
Mother of two boys, who both attend Turle Bay for piano instruction, and a former TBMS student herself, Megwin has been a member of the TBMS community for over eight years. Megwin received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. (Back to top)
Jeff Schlosser is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Private Equity Performance Improvement Group in New York. With 15 years of operational improvement, corporate advisory and merger and acquisition experience, Mr. Schlosser focuses on assisting private equity sponsors with due diligence and post-acquisition performance improvement. Mr. Schlosser brings deep expertise in operations and supply chain related to pre-deal target assessment, operational due diligence and post-deal performance improvement. His particular focus is in private equity portfolio leveraged sourcing, and he has served in numerous leadership roles on these projects in either advisory or interim management positions. Robert Brett has been with MTV Networks since 1994. Prior to joining MTV Robert worked at advertising agency FCB. Robert is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany where he received his Bachelor’s degree. Robert is a Long Island native also spent several years growing up outside Chicago. He is the youngest of 6 children, lives on the upper west side, and enjoys a variety of music genres, from classical and jazz to pop. He sticks to listening to, not performing, music. (Back to top)
Nick, a partner at Citrin, Cooperman & Company, has spent the past 20 years providing business consulting and financial advice to a variety of closely-held private businesses. Nick is an audit and accounting partner with extensive experience in service businesses, including personnel, real estate, and restaurants, as well as in the merger and acquisition arena. He offers advice and counsel in the areas of valuation services, business consulting, and profitability analysis and helps clients with strategic corporate organization, as well as business and tax planning. A graduate of Pace University, Nick is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and is the past chairman of the Large- and Medium-Sized Firms Practice Management Committee of the NYSSCPA. He also lectures extensively on various tax and business topics and is a frequently invited to speak on the financial aspects of running staffing companies and restaurants. (Back to top)
Liz Lyman is currently Managing Director and Head of Corporate Communications for the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU), a position she has held since October of 2010. She was previously the Director of Executive Communications for Union Bank, the wholly owned subsidiary of BTMU headquartered in San Francisco.
Her varied background includes strong experience in the performing arts. Most recently, she was a member of the renowned professional choral group Woodley Ensemble and was a guest artist with Tallis Scholars during their recent U.S. tours to Washington, DC and New York. In addition, Liz has sung with the Charleston Bach Soloists and Charleston Renaissance Ensemble in Charleston, South Carolina, and the Washington Bach Consort, in Washington, DC. As a much sought-after professional church musician, Liz was a member of the choirs of the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul in Charleston and St. Paul’s K Street in Washington.
Her arts experience extends beyond performance to management, and she has served as the Executive Director of the Washington Bach Consort and the Theater Chamber Players of the Kennedy Center. She was the Director of Public Relations for the Choral Arts Society of Washington and the Director of Public Relations and Programs for the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs where she managed operations for the Piccolo Spoleto Festival.
Apart from her work in the arts, Liz has an extensive background in both government and corporate sectors. She was the Chief Speechwriter for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service and Senior Speechwriter and Executive Communications Manager for Hewlett-Packard, Technology Solutions Group.
Liz holds a BA in English (cum laude) from Upsala College and Masters Degrees in both Human Relations and International Relations from Webster University (summa cum laude). She is also a graduate of the Cambridge University, England Choral Scholars Seminar.
Liz is married to Captain Mel Lyman, USN (ret), a former nuclear submarine commander, and they have one son, Christopher, who is a systems engineer with the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California. (Back to top)
Renee Rubens-Muhammad was born and raised in New York City. After living all around the United States, including in Chicago, Atlanta and most recently Dallas, she returned to her home city to continue her career in media sales to work for Asset International Inc., a B2B information and technology company. She has traveled the world for business and pleasure, and never misses a chance to visit Paris, her home away from home.
Rubens-Muhammad is a proud mother of three. An avid art collector, especially contemporary and Harlem Renaissance art, she believes art plays an important role in a child’s development and has passed on that passion to her daughters. She also enjoys reading, her favorite book being “Mama Day” by Gloria Naylor.
Rubens-Muhammad is pursuing her certification to become a tea master, and has long been a connoisseur of teas from around the world, especially the Chinese Oolong, her favorite. Instilling her infectious sense of humor in everything she does, she believes it is never an inopportune time to make someone smile. (Back to top)

Father of three children. Music enthusiast, particularly opera, chamber music, jazz from the 30's, 40's and 50's. Brought up and educated in England. Alice Yurke has been practicing finance law for almost 25 years and is currently a partner in the New York office of Jones Day. She serves on a variety of bar committees and trade associations and frequently writes and speaks about matters pertaining to structured products and regulatory reform.
Alice received her B.A. from Wellesley College and J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. She has served on the Wellesley College Alumnae Association and chair of Annual Giving and remains active in Wellesley matters. Alice is currently on the Board of the Lower East Side Tenement Museum and serves as co-chair of that Board's Long-Range and Strategic Planning Committee. She is the chair of the Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation, which promotes artistic productions at St. Bart's, and assists the Episcopal Diocese of New York in her role as Vice Chancellor.
Alice is married to Robert H. Davis, Jr. Her son John is a TBMS alumnus, and daughter Katya is currently enrolled in TBMS as a percussion student. (Back to top)
