What makes TBMS different?
Turtle Bay Music School offers a number of free +OPPORUNITIES for students and their families, including:
Young Artists Recitals
Special performance opportunities open to all TBMS young artists. Students enjoy sharing what they are working on (at all levels) and performing for their family and friends.
Second Thursday of every month at 5:00pm and 6:15pm.
Master Classes
Selected TBMS students will perform for a guest artist, who will provide feedback for improved performance. Equally fun and informative for performers and audience members alike! Family, friends and peers are welcome to observe our students grow their musical abilities right before their eyes.
Parent Education Nights
This series educates TBMS parents in the progression of the their child’s musical education. Topics will vary throughout the year. Parent reception to follow.

TEEN GROUP GUITAR STUDY BUNDLE UP!
This class prepares students for classical or rock guitar study in a relaxed group setting. Teens learn basic techniques on acoustic guitars.
TEEN VOCAL WORKSHOP BUNDLE UP!
In this performance-oriented class, students receive coaching on songs they select from a variety of genres, including pop, musical theatre, jazz, and more!
COMPOSERS WORKSHOP BUNDLE UP!
A fun and groovy introduction to composition; an opportunity to explore your own creativity with confidence-building practices in self expression. At the end of the session, all students will have the opportunity to perform the compositions generated from the workshop. Open to musicians with a minimum of 1 year of study on their instrument. All instruments are welcome.
LATIN PIANO ENSEMBLE BUNDLE UP!
Group class for jazz and classical pianists who want to learn about Latin music and improvisation. Guaranteed to improve your rhythm! Open to students already proficient on piano.
YOGA FLOW BUNDLE UP!
Teens who practice yoga learn to tune into their bodies early on. This class will focus on enhancing posture, strength, flexibility, coordination, and concentration as well as self-awareness, self-discipline and self-esteem.
